It's All Over
While I have never watched the show Survivor before, I did enjoy watching it this season. It was fun getting to know a little bit about the personalities of the players and watching them interact with one another. There were some pretty intense moments and, overall, it was a good show. Survivor teaches us how people act in order to survive. People would lie and deceive others to get what they wanted. But they were also honest at times, making friendships and having fun. Basically, I think it teaches us about basic human behavior; what people are like without any modern interruptions. This show is very good to watch in a psychology class. As seen from our previous posts, many examples of what we learn in this class are seen throughout the show. Survivor allows us to see how people think in certain situations, such as a conflict or getting through a physical challenge. Each person is different and they all perceive situations differently, and this show really shows that. Not only do you see how these people come together and act, but you get to hear what they think when they are alone, so you really get an idea of what they are thinking. This is important in a psychology class.

ReplyDeleteI never liked Survivor until watching it in class also.
ReplyDeleteI agree that survivor shows how people interact without any interruptions or distractions. This shows you how they would really act in certain situations, not how other people would want them to act.
